Memorial Day has arrived!
Once we understand the significance of this day, we will appreciate how people we never knew forged this country to what it is today.
Here in Redmond, Oregon, the city has an interesting way to celebrate this day. Let us ask you this...
You see this American flag right?
Well, the city places more than 100 of these flags in the streets surrounding the Downtown are. All of them placed on previously planned holes on the sidewalks. If you have been in this city, we can all agree that it looks amazing.
It also gives you a sense on who valuable this day is to many people, either because they know how difficult it is defend this nation or because they had a family member who sacrificed their Life to a bigger cause.
